Focused on equipping communities with practical knowledge and confidence to reduce online and cyber risk, our work centres on clear, easy-to-apply guidance that supports safer digital behaviour and more positive experiences when engaging in online and social spaces.
Tricia Munn
(Managing Director & Speaker)
Tricia Munn is the Managing Director of Eyes Open Social Media Safety and an experienced cyber safety and social media safety educator, working with schools, families and educators across Australia.
Drawing on extensive research, professional experience and real-world engagement with schools and communities, Tricia recognised the growing gap between how young people use online platforms and how well adults understand the associated risks, privacy settings and digital behaviours. This gap has contributed to increased harm online, including bullying, harassment and misuse of personal information.
Motivated to create practical change, Tricia has focused on developing clear, accessible education that helps students, parents and educators build confidence and capability in navigating online spaces safely. Her work emphasises practical strategies, informed decision-making and responsible digital participation.
Today, Tricia leads the delivery and development of education programs that support safer online communities, ensuring children and young people are equipped to engage positively and responsibly in the digital world.
