Community Care WorkerSocial Media Safety – For adults who work with children

  • Develop an overall understanding of how social media is used by children.
  • Understand what controls are available to help create safer accounts.
  • Gain the knowledge to communicate with children about protective behaviours they can adopt.

It is commonly advised that adults caring for children should be actively participating in the children’s use of social networking.  Eyes Open Social Media has developed a range of workshops to help adults learn how to navigate the sites that children in their care are using.  We provide practical advice and demonstrate how you find and use the settings to create a safer environment for children in your care.
