Message for parents.
Scrolling on social media this morning Dan watched a video about the latest updates for Australia during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The video below the news article was high level nudity and sexually explicit.
The video has been posted on Tuesday and shared over 30k times.
During the reporting process Facebook warned that due to lock downs and quarantines in place around the world they were unable to manually process the volume of reports that they usually receive…
…they offered several opportunities for us to manage the content in a different way than requesting them to process a report.
Obviously we followed through and ensured we had done all we could to have the content removed, but we believe during this time of uncertainty there is an even higher need than usual for parental monitoring and conversations.
